Mike Armstrong

Mike Armstrong is an experienced attorney practicing in the areas of criminal defense, family law, paternity, divorce, child custody and guardianships. Mike began his career in civil practice in Fayetteville, AR and Rogers, AR before joining the Benton County Prosecuting Attorney's Office. While there, he served as the Child Sexual Abuse Prosecutor, and his practice focused solely on the prosecution of sex crimes against children. He led several jury trials and oversaw dozens of felony sex abuse convictions.

Since leaving the Prosecuting Attorney's Office, Mike has taken the skills and experience he developed there and applied them to defending people who have been charged with crimes. Much of his practice is devoted to criminal defense, including everything from major felony cases to minor misdemeanor charges. There is no better teacher than experience, and Mike's time as a prosecutor has given him tremendous insight into just how criminal cases are approached by the state - enabling him to cut through the noise and distractions that can often trip up many lawyers, and to truly focus on those things that are most important to any case. Put this experience to work for you.

Mike has also handled many contentious divorce and custody cases, as well as matters involving large marital estates, with great success. He is known as a tenacious litigator, and has a reputation for courtroom success, yet will always make attempts to settle cases for his clients, knowing that a settlement most often leads to the best outcome for families who must continue to find ways to coexist after divorce. This is the "big picture" that many lawyers tend to forget. But your future, and the future of your family, is too important, and your lawyer must never lose sight of that. Mike won't, and he will always put the needs of you and your family ahead of everything else.

He is a member of the American Bar Association, the Arkansas Bar Association, and the Benton County Bar Association.
